    Drunk on Facebook

    Picture Link (safe, foxnews.com)

    Story (foxnews.com)

As if the hangover weren't bad enough, thousands of young women have the added humiliation of millions seeing their wasted debauchery on Facebook.
A user group entitled "30 Reasons Girls Should Call It a Night" has posted more than 4,800 photos of blotto gals on the town, over the toilet and in the bar, often with their panties showing and their faces three sheets to the wind.
Named for the tongue-in-cheek list of reasons it might be time to put down the cocktail and go home ("No. 27. One minute you're strutting your stuff, the next minute you're rolling on the ground and you can't seem to remember the transition"), the Facebook group claims more than 160,000 members.

Someday when you get out of school, this kinda stuff will haunt you. Try to explain that to a potential employer.

how the heck would a potential employer find that? if you are too ******** to take the pic off there before you go in for an interview or send in an application for a big job, then you don't deserve to be hired. People forget that the individual can take the pics off that website anytime they want.

if someone wants to change their profile from a profile of "drunken debauchery" to "professional" they could do it in about 10 minutes...

Umm I am not sure if you are aware of this, but there is an invention called google. You type things into it, and it tells you where to find information about said items. It is remarkable.

    This means what?

I changed all my profile to look professional and I remove the drunk picture I didn't want my potential employer to see BEFORE I send in my app and before I interview for the job...so now how does my potential employer use GOOGLE to find anything I wouldn't want them to see?

    Re: Drunk on Facebook

I have some, not horrible but maybe questionable, pictures in the eyes of an employer or potential employer on mine. That is why you make it so only friends can see your stuff. I don't plan on having bosses or potential bosses being my facebook friends anytime soon.

Most people have their profiles set so you will never see this stuff unless they want you too. But there is a lot that display their "drunken debauchery" to the world.

    Re: Drunk on Facebook

I specifically recall some recent cases of Facebook and MySpace profiles coming back to bite people in the rear end.

Right or wrong, that's a discussion I won't get into. But it is happening.
