Continue to recruit him until he's signed IMO. Continue to win and maybe we can flip him.

This. Until he signs on that line we keep pitching this program.

Exactly. He's the #1 recruit in the state. Why let a SEC team have him without a fight? :-) And besides, verbal commitments are never solid.

Re: Coach Rhoads at Valley Game

I don't think Campos verbal is all that strong. He skipped a Mizzou camp and came to ours. I just have a feeling about this that if we have a very good season (8 wins) he may switch.

    I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

    Or so I have read.

    A. He's not a "strong verbal", by all accounts, including family.

    B. You don;'t have enough imagination.

    Paul Rhoads' players never quit.
    (They just disappear offseason)

There are plenty of recruits coming out of Valley. Maybe not this year, but most. Maybe someone from the other team?

the big Indianola Jr. tackle Rinder already has an offer from Iowa so he might have been looking at him also.

He was there to watch Indianola O-Line Keegan Render as well. He's got an offer from Iowa and interest from a lot of other schools. He'll be a top recruit.

Based on the picture ive seen on rivals, he doesn't have the build we want in an Olineman, or anyone to be honest

Honestly, Mizzou thought the SEC would help them, but going 2-2 in the first two games doesnt look pretty

    http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...ruiting-2.html

I said a few weeks ago that this staff still believes that they've got more than a decent shot at landing him. Mizzou moving to the SEC could be a really good thing for us with respect to Campos. They are unlikely to ever legitimately compete for titles and we are going in the opposite direction. We just can't let the best, or one of the best recruits in the state leave without a fight!

Missouri getting spanked by the Gamecocks will help
