Question Tailgating question for Kansas State game??

    Hello everyone,

I am a long time viewer, but first time poster and have a question about the Kansas State game.

For this game I have around 15 family members coming to the game and they were curious as to what they should to for tailgating, since I have never held a tailgate before.

Are there any first come first serve spots and what time should someone arrive if there are?
How much will it cost to get a spot?
Any other suggestions to make the day go smoothly?

    Thanks!

$20/car in the grass lots south of stadium by Vet School. If you want to save money park at Kmart and carpool with 1 vehicle. Bring lots of beverages and a football.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

Ditch the football if it limits the amount of bevvies. Pack of Doritos wouldn't hurt, either. Also, don't forget beverages.

Also, a shotgun wouldn't hurt in case Bill Snyder escapes his handlers and goes on an undead brain-eating rampage. Always double-tap. We made that mistake once.

General admission lots open 6 hours before game time. Try to coordinate travel plans to ensure that you can get all your cars together before entering the lots and don't be afraid to talk to the parking people (DPS I think) about getting your cars together, usually if they are able they will accommodate people in groups.

I really hope this is not a 11am game, but looking at the schedule it could very well be. This could be a real good tailgate as K-State will likely have a large contingent coming to Ames and it would be great to have a full day of tailgating. Any thoughts?
