    Tiller

I have been very impressed with Tiller at WR, he has been running great routes, catching the ball, getting yards after the catch and most of all he has been blocking great.

The reason I made this thread was to give him a shout out mainly for the major crack block he had last night. There was a play in the thrid quarter that the RB (can't remember if it was SJ or Nealy) but they bounced it outside and Tiller came in and threw a crack back block that put the defender on the ground. It was an awesome block and it was even more awesome to see Tiller jumping up and down excited after he made the block.

    Keep it up Jerome!!!!

    Re: Tiller

Tiller will go down as a favorite just because of his attitude. 2nd string QB his career, when he has a chance to win the starting job his academics aren't in order and can't play for a year. Gets it together, switches positions and is really shining. Glad we have him.

He looks really good out there. Makes a person wonder what could have been if he had played 4 years as a WR.

    Re: Tiller

Tiller is such a team player. Cannot give this guy enough love, what a great attitude and work ethic to make the switch from QB to WR while excelling at his new position. Definitely a favorite, loved last season when we upset Okie state and he ran up to CPR and sprayed him with a gatorade bottle jumping up and down in excitement. Great player and awesome to have on this team

Tiller has been awesome at WR. With everything he has gone through the last couple of years, he deserves nothing but the best.

Yep, I agree. Fine young man and a credit to his parents.

    Re: Tiller

In fact, if Tiller won the QB position at one time can he step back in to see how he'd do?

    Re: Tiller

The transformation of the publics view on Tiller is amazing. First as a back up QB he was a crowd favorite. Then he failed some classes and everyone crucified him. Now he's back to being a fan favorite. Interesting to say the least.

    Re: Tiller

Completey agree with the OP. That block was just sick, and he has been a constant all season with his routes, catching, and blocking.

He is becoming one of my favorites on the team, you just gotta love that attitude. Looking forward to him continuing to develop as a WR.

A bit of selective memory on the first 2 parts of that...as a backup QB, there were also people who thought he sucked ***. When he failed classes, there were also some people who didn't think it was worth piling on, but were disappointed.

However, I think pretty much everyone is impressed with how he came back and contributed. Didn't walk away, didn't quit and go home, and he's contributing and in a big way.

    Re: Tiller

if this guy had switched to wide receiver a few years, he would have been really good. he has the size and looks like he can catch with just his hands. We would have had two serious threats in Lenz and Tiller. The season is still young I feel he is going to make a game changing play in one of these games. I like a comeback kid....
