    Re: 55,783

I think they said 4th largest crowd in Cyclone history. Amazing!

I kind of figured this season would be down a bit in attendance since we didn't have as many big names (Texas, Okie State ranked #2, A&M's last B12 game) and we didn't have in state teams (UNI, Iowa). But even without the big names and the boost of visiting fans ISU is still breaking records.

Will be interesting to see if we can get 55-56k for Texas Tech. Hope its a sellout!

I would be shocked, assuming the weather is OK, to not be over 57,000.

I'll be bringing myself and at least one other friend from Texas to the Texas Tech game. I'm converting him into a Cyclone fan.

I would be shocked because I don't think they can fit 57k in there.. I'm pretty sure last year the Texas game was a sellout at around 56,400. Biggest crowd ever is 56,800. I don't think they can pack 57k in there.

Bring in bleachers to place around field like they did in 2005 for Iowa game.

You all do realize that the south endzone doesn't matter right? If it's there, it's there, but it does next to nothing for the program.

best part about the south endzone project it blocks the jumbotron so people have to come in the stadium to see the game instead of sitting from the tailgates and watching the jumbotron.

Well, it would add another 5,000 to the official capacity of Jack Trice if i'm not mistaken (60,0000 capacity) and will add more higher dollar seats (which could increase revenue if they can sell them) along with making the stadium look more formidable (like a legitimate B12 stadium). Although I do think the new practice facility does more for the program.

There are a lot of facilities that are much more important than filling in the south endzone. The collective hard on for that is just unintelligent.

The line from Field of dreams was "if you build it they will come" , but in our case it's more like "they have come so you must build it"
