    Of note:

A kiss from his much-older boyfriend
    Tagline indicates it's filed from
    DICKINSON, N.D.
Player's 18, boyfriend is in his 60's, at first he said he kissed his grandpa.

Can't make this stuff up, folks.

That's what you call a geezer pleaser.

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams

That's not right, but I liked it.

"I know if it was a girl in the press box, or even an older woman, nothing would have happened," he said. "If it was an older woman, I would have probably been congratulated for it from my teammates."
I doubt kissing a 65-year-old woman would have received congratulations...

    Re: Hey, Lake Bison

OK, so I am socially liberal. The facts, though, will side with the coach. The kid did lie and that is a plausible reason for dismissal. I don't agree with kicking a kid off the team because he was gay, however, if you feel being gay is ok, just admit it and move on. If he had done that, the school would have had no case. The problem lies within bullying then. I have little doubt he would have been harassed by teammates which is wrong, however he would have then had the case. In the end no one really wins or loses after the kiss.

It's all snark from here on out
