    Indy Star: AURA GROWS

    http://www.indystar.com/article/D2/2...yssey=nav|head
When Rhoads replaced Gene Chizik as head coach in December 2008, the Cyclones began a turnaround:

    -- A 34-14 win at Kent State on Sept. 19, 2009, snapped a 17-game road losing streak.

-- A 28-21 upset at No. 22 Texas on Oct. 23, 2010, ended a 36-game road skid against ranked opponents.

    -- A 37-31, double-overtime stunner against No. 2 Oklahoma State on Nov. 18, 2011, was Iowa State’s first win over a top-six team in 59 attempts.

CFH HMagic bball season next year.

    Re: Indy Star: AURA GROWS

That's actually a Des Moines Register writer, Indy Star musta picked it up. No big deal, just didn't want people thinking Indianapolis sportswriters were writing glowing praises of an ISU coach.
