Color it Cardinal - Already Bowled in SEZ?

Has anybody else noticed in the "Color It Cardinal" promotions it looks like the SEZ is already bowled in?

I am trying to find a better link than Iowa State University Athletics Official Web Site - www.CYCLONES.com - The home of Iowa State Cyclone Sports

I will post when I find a better example.

It's just a bad photoshop/mspaint, the hillsides are ALSO covered in people wearing cardinal.

If you look toward the other end you will see the same... not bowled... just a 5th graders attempt at photoshop

It looks sweet, are those what our bleachers in the south end zone really that big and have that many tunnels? I don't remember, that's why I thought it looked like a bowled in version.

    Still a cool picture.

Re: Color it Cardinal - Already Bowled in SEZ?

I will only believe anything SEZ related if it comes out of JP's mouth. It does astound me that people get all giddy and start urinating down their legs as soon as something as uninspiring as a crudely-drawn photochopped picture.

"It ain't happenin' 'till JP says so!"

This is phase 1 of JP's secret SEZ project. He is trying to keep it under wraps and then before we know it the SEZ is there and nobody realizes it untill he tells us it is there.

Re: Color it Cardinal - Already Bowled in SEZ?

Since this SEZ issue is non-stop here's my "on the cheap" thought until somebody wins the lottery and gets naming rights. This crude photo illustrates what I have thought, why not do curved bleachers in the corners as shown? It would increase seating and give an improved look. Those grass seat fans could still use the North end. And I could see the North end done this way too, if ticket demand dictated.

Re: Color it Cardinal - Already Bowled in SEZ?

What would be so difficult for Pollard and ISU to pour concrete and put in bleacher seats? It shouldn't cost that much since it would be a simplified . . non pedestal type of structure? Unless they are concerned with concrete collapsing into the hillside? Come on Pollard . . .throw your fans a plan!

Go big or go home. It would be practical I guess to somehow poor concrete and bleachers there, but I say wait until the funds are sufficient and knock it out of the park all at once.
