    Travis and Tim

Tim doesn't really admit Iowa State is the better football team. Travis asked him in the context of what team looked better, Tim answered in a condescending manor that "Iowa State won the game by 3, they are 3 points better". Anyone with eyes could see Iowa State is just flat out better, regardless of points. Heck, they won in Kinnick. So now the mindset of Tim is instead giving Iowa State any credit, he is just saying both teams suck.

    Re: Travis and Tim

Both of those guys are a couple of sometimes mildly entertaining *** clowns; they're part of the reason I don't even bother with Des Moines sports talk radio anymore. ISU was the better team far and away. If Jantz and company take care of the ball in the red zone, that game is 21-3 at the half on the way to a blowout.

Yeah, I'm not sure anyone care what TnT thinks or says.

There's a lot of Hawk fans in the Iowa sports media/radio circle...some can be somewhat neutral and give ISU their due credit, others are just bitter and pathetic

    Re: Travis and Tim

I don't think there is any question that these 2 (3 if you include Ross) are Hawk fans first. They have spent the entire show breaking down Iowa, have not heard much about Iowa State. Tim is a pretty giant tool, IMO. The guy is constantly playing devils advocate, and always has to have a different opinion then the other 2. Travis will at least give Iowa State credit.

    Re: Travis and Tim

I'm not sure who is who on the show, but one of the *** clowns said Iowa averaged more yards per play than ISU. It was his reasoning for the Iowa offense looking better than the ISU offense. Iowa averaged 4.3 yards per play while ISU averaged 4.4 yards per play. Not much of a difference but still; know your facts before you make an *** out of yourself.

    Re: Travis and Tim

One of them referred it to meltdown monday (as in for them)...not the slightest acknowledgement that half their listeners are clones fans. I think Justice wishes ISU would just disappear so he could spend all his time on hawks and huskers.

Two of the stupidist people i've ever heard doing sports talk radio, and that's saying something.

    Re: Travis and Tim

Here's my favorite Tim excuse this morning.

    (paraphrasing)
Tim- Iowa's offensively line was good. They didn't allow any sacks.

Travis- But they didn't do well in the running game.

Tim- No, if you look at who was making those tackles on the running backs, it was ISU's linebackers, not the D-line, therefore the Iowa line played well.

    Re: Travis and Tim

The only thing I have issues with is they seem to think Iowa lost the game. NO mention (at least during my commute) of Iowa state leaving 30 points off the board. This game shouldnt' have been close, but ISU made some key mistakes all within the 5 yard line. Plus we had receivers running wild and couldn't connect on one of them. Calling ISU bad is very premature. If both teams would have played better the score would have been something like 31-14.

Yeah I heard that and LOL'd. Tim typically spouts off crap that makes zero sense, and when Trav calls him out on it, he usually tries to back pedal but just fall further off the cliff. I just cant stand how Tim always has to have the side that no one else is on, and he completely lost my respect when he choose to take that path with the Penn State stuff. I just get the feeling that guy thinks he is right on everything, and that he thinks people think he is this awesome radio guy who knows it all. He constantly makes arguments that just makes him sound like a moron.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually like Travis.

If you listen to hear where to have your next decent bar type food meal, you are listening for the right reasons. If you are listening with the expectation of knowledgeable sports talk, shame on you.

Many Hawk fans are doing this. I just laugh them off. We did have a turd day a bit, but we won and controlled their O more than they controlled ours.
