Defensive Line Looks Good This Year

I was a victim to the wedding on the Iowa vs Iowa State weekend so I'm having to re-watch the game now. Something I noticed during the game along with last weeks game is a ton of screen passes against our defense.

From my little knowledge of watching both college and pro, you go to this play when your trying to stop the rush. I see the teams the 49ers and Giants play go to the screen pass a lot to try and slow down the defensive line and make them a step slower.

Not saying we are even remotely close to those teams front 4, but nice to see some "fear" in the eyes of other teams coordinators, that they play call against the defensive pressure we are applying.

What a long way our defensive front has come in 4 short years under CPR!
