    Re: Shot Through The Heart!

Everytime the band plays Bon Jovi at the games I throw up a little in my mouth.

    A little background:

I think I was in about 5th grade when that horrible album "Slippery When Wet" came out. I had to ride the bus to school at that time, and we used to have people bring along their "boom boxes" on the bus. As soon as that horrid peice of crap became popular that was ALL I HEARD on the way to and from school every single day. And not only that, but all of the d-bags playing it would then try to sing along (poorly) to all the lyrics.

Perhaps if I wouldn't have had that experience in my formative years I wouldn't hate Bon Joki so....

I dunno - ever since Jon Bon Jovi guest starred on Ally McBeal I've kinda lost a little bit of respect

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    Re: Shot Through The Heart!

wow, nice to see that the shiny new Wells Fargo Arena is drawing such prominent national acts to Des Moines instead of washed up have-beens that should be doing county or state fairs.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

I actually like Bon Jovi, but I would'nt pay 50 or 100 dollars to see him in concert, although there aren't many people I would pay to see at this point.

You know you wanted to sing along but were just to embarrassed! You can't hear Livin' on a Prayer and not sing along. Or maybe you just couldn't make yourself take that Boys II Men tape out of the walkman long enough to listen to Bon Jovi?
