    Call of duty 4

Anyone else get it? I've only played two player split screen so far with my boy, but the graphics there are pretty awesome. I'm hoping to play some online this weekend.

I'm getting it this weekend for the PS3. I've got to many tests/papers due this week so i'm waiting to get it till those are done, or else those would be a complete disaster!

Between LOTRO and Halo3 I don't have time to even think about it. But I have enjoyed 1, 2, and 3 in COD so I'm sure I'll pick it up when my Halo buzz dies down a bit.

So far it plays almost exactly like COD3, but from what I have read, the online stuff has lots of upgrades available. Which kind of scares me, because by the time I get some serious time to play it online, I get the feeling everyone is going to be running around in the invisible grass uniforms calling in air strikes on my *$$

I think I saw something online about a bundle pack that includes COD 3. I missed that one so that might be something to pick up - although I'm so hooked on Halo 3 my wife already wants to divorce me

I'm pretty sure it's going to be my birthday present from my brothers-in-law, so I won't see it till next week.

    Re: Call of duty 4

I have been a little disappointed in Halo 3 overall (just wasn't as groundbreaking after playing Gears of War for so long.) I own and loved COD2 & 3 and my roomie rented 4 and it looks nice, I just can't wait to see it on my tv in high def.

I am looking forward to Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect myself.

Basically as you level you get more choices for guns and perks and whatnot. But I don't think it gives anyone a huge advantage or anything. I got this game on release day and I am loving it so far. This kills Halo3, for me atleast.

I'm looking forward to Mercenaries 2. The original was a riot to play, plus the commercials were outstanding. YouTube them (I'd link it myself but I can't access YouTube at work)

As far as I'm concerned COD 3 killed Halo 2. I don't see why this would be any different.

For you PC gamers, what's a good controller to get for these types of games?

    Recommendations.

I like my Microsoft one that's basically just an XBOX controller rigged with a USB cord.

Actually, nowadays, I think you can actually buy an XBOX 360 controller and get a converter to use it for the PC.

I think I'm going to grab Assassin's Creed too. The reviews sound really good, though the control scheme is supposedly (or was) pretty complicated. Of course, I bought Bioshock when I got Halo 3, and I haven't touched that yet.

    Re: Call of duty 4

I just rented COD4 for PS3. Pretty sweet but I just can't get the shooting accuracy down after playing PC games for so long.
