    Fantasy Football Advice thread

I would like some input for a ff roster decision. In a league with 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 w/r/t. I need to decide what 2 rb's to start since my receivers are decent. I stocked up on running backs in the late rounds

I have Ryan Matthews, Adrian Peterson, Kevin Smith, Isaac Redman, Peyton Hillis, CJ Spiller, and Jonathan Stewert.

In week 1 Smith is an obvious choice but who should be the other? I am leaning Peterson thinking he might play.

Also, who should I drop m maybe two to pick up other players later? Spiller?

    Thanks

Hillis all the way. He is going to get half of the carries for a team that is going to run the ball like they outlawed the forward pass.

    Re: Fantasy Football Advice thread

None of the above? Everyone besides Smith is either hurt or splitting time (or both). Redman could be a good choice for this week, but will split carries with Dwyer. Honestly, you're gonna have to wait to see who is even playing, cuz I'd start Jonathan Stewart if he ends up playing. For now, I'd say probably go with Hillis, as Charles is coming off his knee injury and Hillis had a decent preseason, and we know he is for sure going to play. Adjust accordingly on Sunday, though.

As for Peterson, even if he plays and is effective, the will Vikes severely limit his snaps because he just now cleared for contact. Safe play would be to hold off at least this week.

Hernandez. Teams will key in on Gronk and Hernandez will dominate this year.

Definitely not Mathews, Peterson, and Stewart...all hurt and might not play. Smith and Hillis are my 2.

    Re: Fantasy Football Advice thread

Heard AP won't be ready until week 2 or 3.
    I would go with Hillis.

Also, Kevin Smith could go for 20 points or 2 and get hurt at halftime. Or just get 2 because the Lions O-line sucks. I would go with Redman over him.

    Rotoworld:
The Vikings plan to decide Adrian Peterson's (knee) Week 1 status before Sunday.

Coach Leslie Frazier hopes to have a decision by Friday night or Saturday morning, which would save fantasy owners a great deal of Sunday morning consternation. AP got in another limited practice Thursday, and most signs point toward him suiting up against the Jaguars. He's expected to have an extremely limited workload, however, and is shaping up as a poor flex play.

My choices are Smith and Hillis.
Jonathan Dwyer may get more playing time than Isaac Redman.

    Re: Fantasy Football Advice thread

A trade I offered to a guy with no qb to get a rb:

Vick(my backup) & Hillis for McFadden & luck or RG3

    Thoughts?

    Re: Fantasy Football Advice thread

    dabears -

RB - Smith (v. St. Louis) and Redman (Denver was 22 in rush d last season)

If Peterson is going to play then swap him for Redman - your RBs would be up against St. Louis & Jacksonville. I like those odds.

TE - Hernandez. New England is working out the RB situation after losing BenJ. He and Gronk will get plenty of looks especially at the goal line
