    One small depth chart change

Only one small depth chart change for Iowa State this week. Shontrelle Johnson is now listed as the No. 2 running back. Jeff Woody was ahead of Johnson a week ago. Note that Paul Rhoads said that Woody should be good to go this weekend at Iowa.

I'm guessing that'll change after a few more games. But they'll both still get a lot of carries.

Re: One small depth chart change

I don't have a problem with White as the #1, he is a proven every-down Big 12 back. Let Johnson come in with really fast/fresh legs for 15-20 rushes a game to really freak out the defense. Plus, I want White to get the higher number of carries because I don't want Johnson to get too dinged up too early in the season.

Re: One small depth chart change

I think if they are featured in alternating games, giving the other a rest, it will do well for the season. Alternate our starting "fast" guy per game, and make the previous weeks starter a situational pair of fresh legs. Sprinkle in a dash of powerful Woody and you have a great recipe!

I'll go with this also. It's not like we have a back we can hand off to 40 times a game. Our three top guys all bring something a little bit different in style and play. Nice to have these options. I like all three of these guys getting carries.

This has to be the single greatest thing that CPR has done to Ia State football. NOW not only can we exceed expectations one year, but we can continue to do it year after year and injury after injury. THIS is how you build a program and CPR is the master contractor!!!

I'm not trying to be difficult, it comes naturally....

Re: One small depth chart change

I saw a couple other changes. The OR was removed at RG and Nettens isn't listed anymore at all.

Im surprised Brun didn't get the #2 TE position, I thought he looked great.
