    Tiller

Sorry if this was posted but it was good to see Tiller get a few passes yesterday. I think he will have a decent year at wr for us. I even noticed him getting some decent blocks downfield. Sure seems like a team first attitude by all.

Yep, pretty awesome. WRs looked good out there yesterday. Only thing I might have picked up on was it appears Aaron Horne may be a little squeamish about getting hit.

Agree... Wouldn't it make more sense to send Jarvis back to return punts? The likelihood of hurting your collarbone increases on punt returns

    Re: Tiller

As long as he can continue to block and catch then he deserves to be on the field. Especially if we throw as many screen passes as we did yesterday

    Re: Tiller

I was impressed he got so much PT in a close game. Says a lot about the trust the staff has in him and probably speaks to our WR position needing to get better. I'm definitely rooting for him. It would have been really easy for him to transfer down or quit football all together last fall but he accepted the situation and made the best out of it.

    Re: Tiller

QBs can become excellent receivers, I figure, since they know what the quarterback needs from the receivers. Austin Flynn was very much underrated in the latter McCarney era. KU also converted a QB a few years back after his freshman year, and they beat ISU every year he played.

I would guess the PT will go to receivers who do not drop passes. YAC and downfield blocking probably provide the next level criteria.

    Re: Tiller

I think Jerome will be a solid WR all season long barring injury. Not Flynn caliber, but not far off of that either. I loved Flynn's attitude and production and could only hope for Tiller to be equal in both areas.

    Re: Tiller

It was great to have him out there,
and he is a very good reciever.
He can catch, and yards after look good.
Tiller will be one of the QB's favorites.

    Re: Tiller

I want to throw him the fade when we are on about the 10 yard line. That could be pretty.

    Re: Tiller

I liked that Tiller caught the ball and then wasn't afraid to take the hit to those trying to tackle him. He's got the size... and I like his attitude.

I'm waiting until we throw a couple bad passes back to back in the red zone to break out my "PUT IN TILLER!!!"
