    Jarvis West

I thought we were going to get this kid a lot of touches?

I don't care how we do it, via the run or the short pass, but we need to get him the ball more often IMO.

Our offense was so much more effective when West and Shontrelle were on the field.

Also... did Bundrage and JQ Daniels play much at all yesterday? I was hoping to see these two get a few chances as well. Seemed like we kept going to Horne and Young most of the day, which is fine, but I'd like to see us get West the ball more, and I'd like to see what Bundrage can do also?

I thought JW was REALLY close to breaking one on one of the few touches that he had. I'd like to watch that play again and see if I saw it wrong the first time.

Every time he touches the ball I think the same thing.

    Re: Jarvis West

We are loaded at the skill positions, and I'm sure the other team knows he's a threat, so there will be games when really good players don't get great stats.

He's always a shoelace away from a big play, but I don't recall of the top of my head any actual big plays from him.

Had that kick return against Rutgers, but that was special teams, so idk if that counts

west played plenty. he just wasnt open a whole lot. forcing things creates turnovers. turnovers are bad.

    Re: Jarvis West

ISU didn't have to show their hand because the few plays that they did run were working, which preserves the element of surprise if/when needed. /thread

    Re: Jarvis West

By the time this season is over Jarvis West will be one of the stars of this team. You can just see it. He also played a big role in the Oklahoma State win last year. Without him, it wouldn't have happened. Huge fan.

I'd like to see Nealy out there also. I am excited that we didn't see everyone yesterday, but we still put up a lot of points.

You could defiantly tell we ran a very plain offense yesterday. Don't want to give Iowa much tape on how we want to run our offense.

I hope hawk fans are sweating bullets over shontrelle!
