I hope that Big Play Curvey keeps the record for most pick sixes in ISU history!

Amazing that a DL who only played 2 seasons has 3 INT returned for touchdowns. Damn I miss that guy.

I only thought he had two. Dang. But I do hope the Klein breaks it this year. For sure.

Picking between the two themselves, I don't have a preference, but considering that AJ breaking it means he will have one or more pick 6's this year, I hope like heck he breaks it.

Now that I think about it that way, I hope Jake Knott breaks it with 7, AJ takes 2nd with 6 and Watson and Reeves take 3rd and 4th with 5.

Oh, and Chris, Tulsa's road record against BCS opponents should really be 0 - 17. Notre Dame isn't really a BCS school, and they're so bad in South Bend, they shouldn't really be counted as home games.

Re: Preview (& prediction): Iowa State vs. Tulsa

Nice pregame analysis. Just can't get enough of thinking about this game. And while I wish we were playing a lesser team for the first game, I hope having a tougher opponent will help the team start stronger this season.

My x-factors are Cody Green and Jeremiah George.

I'm not sold on Cody Green. An article in the DMR this morning says that he has bulked up and emerged as a real team leader. My recollections are mostly of him being a decoy in the 2010 Nebraska game as they went with the wildcat set with lots of direct snaps to Burkhead. IIRC, he even lined up in the WR spot much of the game. If we can rattle him, we should be able to win the game. Rattling Weeden early was one of our keys to beating Oklahoma State.

I can't wait to see what Jeremiah George will do. Given the fantastic play of Knott and Klein, it is hard to imagine what a freaky athlete like George will be able to do. I think he will make a few huge plays in the context of Tulsa keying on Knott and Klein.

Bottom line, Jeremiah George will get to Cody Green early and rattle him. That may be all we need to get off to a strong start. Maybe Klein will get that next Pick 6 off of an errant pass thrown while George hits Green.

It's hard to argue with this logic...

I really liked Curvey, but I hope Klein eclipses this record by 10
