    Moral Dilemma

Ok so Sept. 15 is ISU vs. Western Illinois. I haven't had season tickets... Ever. Now, this same day, my friend is having his cancer walk. Last year it worked out. The UCONN game was on the road on his walk. Now I want to go to this game because it's bonding time with my dad. At the same time, I don't want to upset my friend. Now is having a party at his house after the walk (where basically everyone I know shows up) and I can still go after the football game. But I want to do this for my friend. Not sure what I should do.

Honestly, if you were going to miss one game, this would be it. It will probably be the largest margin of victory in CPR's tenure at ISU.

    Re: Moral Dilemma

Hmm, just based off of your post I'd say do the walk. If there is a sure win on our schedule, this is it. It's definitely the 1 game I'd want to have to miss if I had to miss 1.

If it's the only game your dad can make, I'd go cheer on the Clones & hit the after party. Gotta spread the wealth of your presence.

No me and my dad got season tickets. Were going to every game.

I assume this is a charity thing? Go to game and do your family thing with dad than attend the party and contribute to the charity with a check to support the walkers. Next best thing to being two places at once.

    Do people not lie anymore?

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

    Re: Moral Dilemma

There are 6 other games you can hit up with your dad, but one time that you can really show up and support your friend who has beaten something that a lot of people don't. If we were talking any other game on the schedule this year, I would understand, but this game isn't going to be much of a game.

I would go to the game. Then I would show up to the party afterward and donate to the cause. A win-win for everyone.

    Re: Moral Dilemma

Does the walk start right at the start of the game? Can you go to the first half of the game and then go with your dad to the walk?

If not, I would go to walk, you would feel terrible if the cancer came back and you didn't go.
