    Good news for Chicago clones

Not sure if posted yet, but, according to my channel listings on Comcast, fcs central will televise the Tulsa game. On Comcast have to pay for sports pack, but it is available.

I have it, it is 8.95 per month, you can add or cancel whenever. Well worth it in my opinion considering so many games are on there.

Re: Good news for Chicago clones

I remember reading last year, after catching catching a game I didn't think owas on, on channel 15 locally, that according to the contract with fox, the cable companies here have to show it somewhere, no matter what they decide to show on comcast sports net. I know every game that was on fox last year, was on a channel somewhere. The tough part is finding out what public access channel they decide to low def it to.

Well, I guess that's not too bad. Maybe I'll get it just for football season.

Yeah, I don't know...$27 for all of those games on FSN (three months)? You'd spend way more than that going to the bar to watch ONE game. Seems like a no-brainer.

I live in an apartment complex and RCN is the only option. To my knowledge, FSN isn't even available. Unreal.

If you are in Chicago, check with Fizz, a bar on N. Lincoln. They opened early last year so that we could come in and watch the Oklahoma game.

Re: Good news for Chicago clones

I went to Fizz last year for a couple games, I also know that Corcoran's is another Chicago gamewatch location. Has anybody been to both? If so, which one is better?

I've never been to Cocoran's, but it seems like they have multiple game watches going on at once. Fizz wasn't packed on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but it was fun. And the food was really good.

    Yeah, I really enjoyed Fizz.
I just live closer to Corcoran's now and was wanting to know if it was better. If not, I'll probably just go back to Fizz.

Cycsk and cyclonedave25, keep me posted as to which bar you go to. I'm new to Chicago and don't know my way around most areas. I'll certainly give my business to a Cyclones bar.
