Who thinks JB should be the starter?

I mean, since tomorrow CPRs gonna announce Jantz the starter, I got pretty angry. If you couldn't decide a starter between a Sr. And So. until late August and both QBs have the same amount of experience, why not pick the So.? A great leader who's only real disadvantage in the competition was not being able to throw as deep. So what? Run Jarvis West and The Hammer on slants and take the occasional bomb to AG or JL. Jantz will probably break the interception record.

Now I'm holding myself accountable to everything above, so if Jantz starts and breaks all school records and wins the heisman, I'll take whatever heat I get.

Because good healthy Jantz is better than good healthy Barnett

I don't agree with that at all. Good healthy Jantz played in the UNI game. And played for the first qtr of the UCONN game.

I beg to differ, Jantz vs Iowa was the best Iowa State QB performance I've seen since Seneca... Without a doubt...

It is hard to say our offense wasn't clicking against Iowa. Each guy gives us different things, I trust CPR.

Really? I don't know. Iowa was not as good as Okie State. JB defeated 2 top 25 teams, one on the road and one at home, and Jantz defeated none. Winning only one game on the road where he struggled throughout the whole game. While I agree he was amazing vs Iowa, that was one game. JB was a bit more consistent. Who knows, we might have won the bowl game had he stayed in. JB should be the starter. He needs the experience. Hopefully Rhoads looks to the future.

Their team, no definitely not... Their defenses? OKST wasn't world-beaters

Yup. I fully expect the Jantz vs. Barnett debate to rage all season long. The first time Jantz falters, the Barnett crowd will say "see, I told you so", and if it doesn't happen, the Jantz people will gloat about it. I'm not looking forward to it.

Me, I'm just going to trust the decisions of coaches who watch these two athletes every day in practice and get paid big dollars to make such decisions.

Sam Richardson is the starter next year so why does JB need experience?

And what? Kept fumbling, or panic everytime they blitzed? Or wet noodle throws at the WRs feet? Jantz will do great things this year, I'm calling it now, a year in the system will cut out alotta those mistakes he made...
