    Good Golf Course

All right, so my friends and I are apparently going golfing next sunday, and we have no idea where we are going. Help me pick a good golf course please.

What's the talent level? Harvester is the best but pricey and difficult. Legacy is the best higher quality course for the average player

If you want pretty good quality, cheap, with a laid-back atmosphere and enjoyable layout, I recommend Jester Park

We're all pretty blah, with one of us never having golfed in his life, and one (me) that has only golfed once.

I'd probably avoid the Harvester then.

    Re: Good Golf Course

I'm a fan of Saddleback in Solon. Nice course, though not upper-crust like Harvester. It's kind of different, challenging but playable. A lot of elevated tees and greens, makes some interesting shots. Probably $50 for 18 and a cart on sunday.

I'd vote for Legacy. Really nice course, GPS on the carts, some challenge, and some great scenic golf shots too.

If you have a couple non-players you need to avoid Harvester, Legacy, etc.

While not fancy (although they do have a fancy new clubhouse) Grandview sounds much more your speed. Short, usually in decent shape, smallish greens, inexpensive.

I was going to say Grandview, considering the OP's description of the group. Maybe Toad Valley or Terrace Hills. Maybe Willow Creek.
