    Summerslam

Figured I'd get a little chatter going on Sunday's PPV. Seems to me to be an average line up of matches besides HHH/Lesnar. That match in itself will make this one of the best PPVs of the year besides Wrestlemania.

    Re: Summerslam

Not a big fan of Lesnar. I like that he is a "bad guy" in WWE, but he doesn't need the WWE because of the money is got so he just comes in with random appearances. The WWE needs to start making bigger names. Kane is losing it, Undertaker is basically gone, Chris Jericho is using the WWE to get his band going and once they get famous he's leaving the WWE ...really John Cena and Randy Orton are the WWE's only big name guys. Can't stand Alberto Del Rio just because I think he is terrible in the ring with the mic and fighting. Daniel Bryan has serious potential, CM Punk just has been boring for 3 or 4 months, unless AJ was with him.

If I'm the WWE, I'd try and create one more big time name, keep working with Daniel Bryan, and they MUST get another good tag team. Kane/Undertaker, Dudley bros, Hardy bros...really hasn't been anything since then. When their is a great tag team, people tune in. They also need to get another fun alliance going. DX will never happen again, but get Funkasaurus and Zach Ryder to get some funky alliance going just to bring more life to the show.

    Re: Summerslam

Kane is still a monster, but they aren't doing much with his persona. Taker will only show up in big time events. I don't blame him, he's paid his dues. The Rock will at least keep some hype thru the end of the year.

Orton needs to come back and be on a vengance. Daniel Bryan is really starting to come around. Plays the part of a ****** off guy to perfection. Alberto Del Rio is a decent villain. Would like to see the Miz do more.....Shamus is become very fun to follow/root for.

Ziggler - I could see him getting famous. Make Vikki fight for herself. Ziggler just needs to be a one man show. Could be very entertaining.

Jericho's run this year was pretty much pointless. Sure, he spill beer on CM Punk...but seriously not much else.

I'll be checking out the Lesnar/HHH match but that'll be about it. The rest just doesn't interest me too much.

I think the best way to bring back the Tag Team Championship for prominence is Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara teaming up.

Yeah, Punk and Jericho are both top-notch but the swerve they ran with them was DOA.

    Re: Summerslam

I used to be a big fan and tune in religiously several years ago. Life got busy and I had other things to do. When I do turn in these days, the same guys I used to watch are still headlining. I think that points out the WWE's problem developing new talent who people care about.

    Re: Summerslam

Its kinda bad when you have to go to older names to try and get interest into the PPV. I agree that they haven't really created good characters and part of that was the attitude area will never be equalled and thats what everyone will always compare the product to
