    Apple/Fruit Orchards?

Any place near Ames that cells Apple Cider or other fruit juices/ciders during the fall?

Don't know about cider but you can pick your own apples.

Deal's sells all of their Cider locally to the Hy-Vees here too. I always buy some.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

I do every year as well. Then I add cinnamon, everclear, more sugar, slow cook it....well you all get where I'm going here.
Then it ends up at Jack Trice at 5:30am in a tea kettle warming up on the grill.

There's also one up by Story City directly west of the Roland exit on I-35 called Storybook. Not sure if they sell out of there or not, but they are always down at the DM Farmers Market.

    Re: Apple/Fruit Orchards?

Here's a irectory for all of Iowa - Iowa Apple Growers.

I'd call before you go - lots of orchards will have almost no fruit this fall because of the spring frost that dropped the buds. I've heard that some orchards are bringing in apples form other states to sell in place of their lost crop.

I don't know what an irectory is, but it sounds like it hurts...

    I reckon it does.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
