Cyclones on TV (In Sioux Falls, SD)

I moved to Sioux Falls, SD and want to watch all of the Cyclone games, of course the ones I can't get to. Anyways, I still have my Directv boxes from Ankeny, but was told once I moved to Sioux Falls and I get Directv involved that I will have to take on the local channels. So my question to anyone that might know is, is there a provider in the Sioux Falls area that picks up the games?

Otherwise I have been told if I setup my own dish, that I could still get the channels from Ankeny due to the fact that I never changed my address with them.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

You'll probably get FSN North (Minnesota) as your RSN. That's a hit-and-miss proposition. If you have the Sports Pack, you should be fine.

Since Sioux Falls stations serve parts of NW Iowa, I think the ABC affiliate usually gets the Big 12 regional games for football. Otherwise, hopefully your ISP offers ESPN3.

For CTN and B12N (basketball), you're out of luck OTA unless you can pick up Sioux City stations, too. Since those games are all likely to be on FullCourt as well, you can go the PPV route or get them free on ESPN3 (again, if your ISP offers it).

I also moved away last year but not to Sioux Falls, you will want to check the big 12 website and see if there is a Big 12 Network affiliate - we have one in Little Rock and it made my season for Basketball, otherwise a lot of the games were also on ESPN360 (web stream) and many on this site know where to find other web streams of broadcast programming. I actually don't think your Satellite will pick up the local channels even if you don't change your address - seems like we tried this with a mobile satellite and once you were out of range- it didn't work. I have found Directv is the best to get football games though with the Sports Pack as that covers virtually every possible network out there that could carry the game

I can usually count on going to my sister's house to watch the game on their satellite...I don't remember which company they go through. I do know that it is unlikely that my brother-in-law pays for a college football package since he can always watch his team on NBC (gag). In any event, I have internet via Midco and they provide ESPN3.

You likely can pick up the Sioux City channels with rabbit ears.

Not unless you have an outdoor antenna.
