    Poor Matt Flynn

Gets the starting nod for Seattle's preseason opener, but now has T.O. on his team.

Guy will have his work cut out for him with that drama, not to mention lots of uncertainty at receiver.

Certainly won't be the same experience he had in Green Bay.

    Re: Poor Matt Flynn

meh, you're making a bigger deal out of it than it really is. His last two stints with NFL teams have been pretty drama free. T.O. is on a 1 year contract for less than a million dollars. The moment he acts up, he gets cut and nobody loses any sleep. He knows that, and so do his coches. He's just an over the hill wideout at this point, not the bad boy locker room killer that he used to be. He doesn't have that kind of power anymore.

And if you think Flynn had smooth sailing until T.O. arrived, you're mistaken. Seattle wasn't likely to be all that good anyway, let alone with T.O.

Ya man, poor Matt Flynn. He just has a top 5 WR of all time to throw to now. What a shame.

    Re: Poor Matt Flynn

I think the seahawks were pretty thin at WR which is why they're taking the risk.

    Re: Poor Matt Flynn

I surprised it took this long for TO to get a shot. Sign him for little money so even if it goes bad it's low risk. IMO of the 3 drama wr's (Moss, Johnson, Owens) I'd take To over the other 2 in a heartbeat.

    Re: Poor Matt Flynn

He supposedly ran a 4.4 at their tryout, and Rosenhaus wasn't the source on that. If that's accurate, a one year deal for the veteran's minimum is a no brainer.

    Re: Poor Matt Flynn

I think many are forgetting that prior to his injury, He was the most productive Bengal WR.

That might be a little generous. He's certainly not a top 5 receiver right now. But I don't think the Seahawks would have signed him if they didn't think he was serviceable.

I didn't say right now, I think he's right there all time though.

2nd all time in receiving yards
2nd all time in receiving TD's

He ran a low 4.4 and is a freak athlete. Good pickup.

    Re: Poor Matt Flynn

If T.O. was so good and a better teammate, why would an IFL team cut him?

The guy is bad news, period. Clearly the Seahakws are desperate.
