Surely writing terrible articles can't be sustainable forever, can it?

Re: Bleacher Report sold for $175 million

BR is nothing more than a bunch of unpaid guys writing opinion articles. Which is fine. I'm a huge advocate of the first amendment. I just had to stop reading that website because of how many times the writers would screw up and be factually incorrect in their articles.

You sure there wasn't a decimal point somewhere in that $175?

Re: Bleacher Report sold for $175 million

My question is this. If so many people don't read bleacher report. So far everyone in this thread and it's so bad. How did anyone sell it for that much. Also, how does everyone know how bad it is if they don't read what they are writing on Bleacher Report?

Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

A lot of stupid people out there. Bleacher Report is writing for the lowest common denominator.

$30M revenue means they actually "make" somewhere less than that. Though with their model I can't imagine that expenses are too high, so they're probably netting some pretty nice income on that amount of revenue.

Since each "article" takes 10-50 clicks to get through, they must pick up decent ad revenue.

I putting some blame on the people here who constantly post BR stories. Look at what you did, it was bad and you should feel bad.
