    Tartar Sauce

Is this the most undervalued / underused / underappreciated of all condiments?

    I think so.

    Thoughts?

    Re: Tartar Sauce

I love the pickle/mayo combo on all my sandwiches. Probably would be easier to just get some tartar sauce.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

agree but only if your using it for fish.

And I also can't wait until football starts.

    Re: Tartar Sauce

The reason tarter sauce is undervalued is because it's really only used with fish and maybe shrimp, so it gets a lot less usage than say ketchup, ranch, mayo.

But to your point, good tarter sauce on good fish, is hard to beat

personally, I like upgraded tartar sauce that has ketchup and cayenne in it....1000 Island, now that is one condiment that is under-appreciated.

    Re: Tartar Sauce

I like tartar sauce on fish and baked potatoes, but I'd say cocktail sauce is more underrated.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
