    My guess is that you have surgery for the tendon tears and put the ankle back into place.

    Also, that looks horrifyingly painful.

    Those ortho's can fix that. I broke my ankle (not nearly THIS bad, but a similar break) less than a year ago. A plate and 9 screws, and I'm all good.
