Lisa Kohl Uhl - 10k Final

How the heck do I stream this without going through NBC Online? I have Mediacom TV and Windstream internet both of which have access and neither of which I can get logged in through.

I want to watch this race live ... guessing they won't show it on TV tonight.

It looks like she is in around 13-15th place right now. This is unreal, they are running 5:00 miles.

That is fast but still quite a bit shy of WR pace. 6.2 miles at 5 min miles is 31 minutes. The current WR is 29:31, I believe.

    EDIT: Lisa's PR is 31:18, I believe.

Not bad. It's not like she went and failed. She raced the best in the world, and saw some amazing runners.

Yeah, great stuff, raced her best against the best, can't hope for too much more than that.

Lisa race has already taken place. Would of been nice to of had some advanced warning that her race was happening already.

No Americans will every win a long distance race that Kenyans and Ethiopians are involved in. They are just flat out better long distant runners than everyone else. Genetics and where they grew up.

Did you look at the top men's finishers in the Bix 7 last week: Kenyan, Kenyan, Kenyan, Kenyan, etc and those aren't even their best runners.

Re: Lisa Kohl Uhl - 10k Final

Lisa didn't win, but she does get to come home to running water and as much food as she wants to eat. From what I understand in Ethiopia one gold medal is roughly 2 and a half bags of rice.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.
