    State of winners

With UNI, Iowa, and ISU winning, two of which were against the odds, the state of Iowa really looked good today. Nice win by ISU, and a good win by Iowa. UNI is still #1. WOOOOOOOOOO

I'm very happy that UNI won, absolutely pumped that ISU won, ****** off that EIU won, and even more unhappy that Ohio State. Get Ohio State out of the BCS so the hawks go to Detroit if any is what I say.

The Big Ten is still going to get a team into the BCS regardless if OSU loses. In fact, if Michigan beats OSU the Big Ten will most likely get two BCS teams. The Hawks have to take care of business the next two weeks and it is Champs or Insight. I never would have believed it a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah, we need Michigan to lose so they don't make a BCS bowl. Then Iowa is headed to Detroit.

Iowa could go to the Capitol One bowl this year for all I care. I'm just glad we won.

    Re: State of winners

If Iowa is bowl eligible they will likely go to a much more prestigious game than the other big ten teams ahead of them. Right now they are probably fighting with wisconsin for the 4th spot in the conference tier. Bowl games aren't about how good a team is but rather how much money a team's fan base will spend. In Iowa's case it's A LOT. Got to love the bumblebees!

Not after last year. They changed some rule that doesn't allow letting mediocre teams with worse records being picked ahead of a better team just because their obnoxious, pukes of fans travel well with the team. I think this applies to the conference tie-in games and not the at large selections though. Screw the bumblebees. Go Minnesota and then Go Western Michigan.

Actually, no. That rule is that a 6-6 team can't be chosen over a 7-5 team. I don't think there is any rule that a bowl can't chose a team based on traveling fans after that stipulation.

Ya which is why I am hoping that Iowa does no better then 6-6. Of course the teams they play deciding to play good in the first half and sending in the practice squad in the second half is helping them go to 7-5 that is for sure.

Why would you root for UNI? They are Hawkeyes, it doesn't matter if their jerseys are purple. Seriously, how many UNI fans aren't Iowa fans.

    Re: State of winners

UNI don't have any drunk dipstick announcers like Jim Zablet or have a 90% majority fanbase that think their hot **** on a gold platter when all they will ever be are cold turds on paper plates. Their are some obnoxious UNI fans I am sure, but the few and far between. Trailer trash hawkfans are their majority
