I don't lecture to idiots, the intelligent already know. Amazed myself. Didn't ever consider this as a possibility. I would expect negligance from Iowans though, when you don't have pro sports you don't know.

You should note it's average attendance. Basketball (and hockey to an even greater extent) is limited due to indoor arenas.

Before you go dancing on the rooftops, wouldn't common sense say that MLS stadiums are much larger than NBA arenas so they should have higher attendance levels overall?

College football beats any pro sport out there.

Iowans are not negligent. Soccer just is not America's game.

Good for you. You like it. Don't lecture and try and make me like it.

Bingo, and the games are far less frequent (like real American football).

Intelligent folks would know what the meaning of negligence is, they also would know how to spell it.

I think you were looking for ignorance. Oh, and soccer blows

Baseball is ever more impressive given that most ballparks have a capacity of 40-50k, the teams play 162 games per year, and the average attendance is still higher than infrequent soccer games played in massive stadiums. Suck it, soccer.

    Soccer is a communist/socialist sport.

America will never accept soccer as a mainstream sport because, frankly put, it sucks.

Who wants to go outside and kick a ball back and forth?

Anyone want to go run around for 90 minutes chasing a ball only to have our game end in a 0-0 tie?
