Pi pizza is the best in the Midwest. Three locations-Delmar Loop, Kirkwood or Central West End. Schlafley and Urban Chestnut Breweries a good time. The Loop is cool to walk around.

    Tour Busch Stadium
    Gateway Arch
Eat Joe Bucks couple blocks west of Busch Stadium
Take a River Cruise (Start directly under the Arch)

I love St. Louis. Enjoy yourself!

Angelo's is good eats and so is Joe Buck's. Angelo's is by the arch between Busch Stadium and Arch. Joe Buck's is harder to get to.
You can park on the north side of the zoo for free and it is one of the top zoos worldwide in number of species exhibited. I live in Omaha and go to STL to the zoo. And Angelo's and Buck's are over priced for what you get -- go to The Hill

Yep, I have been to the STL Zoo a few times and always had a good laugh over those paying for parking.

Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis. I was impressed and this is coming from someone who is not into art. It is one of the worlds largest mosaic collections over 83,000 sqaure feet.

Even without kids the city museum is a great time. The kids are just an excuse to go. They have late night hours for the non-minor crowd. Good beer, food and tunnels. Website or hearing about it from someone else doesn't do it justice. Just go. You won't be disappointed. Have fun.

Question about the arch--how long do you need to experience it? How long does the ride to the top last and is there a long wait? Family will be there on Sunday.

Pappy's BBQ is tremendous. Schlafly was a lot of fun too.

An hour or two the arch is enough.

Thanks. Thinking about having them visit the arch around 7-8pm at night.

Any fun family restaurants to hit on Sunday? They may spend the day at City Museum, eat, then go to the arch.
