    Texas injury

On the front of the rivals Texas site they show a picture of their QB's.
Under the pic it says significant injury on Friday.
It is alittle early for that to happen. Hopefully it stays down south.

    Re: Texas injury

David Ash apparently strained his hamstring. From the sounds of it, he's day to day and Texas fans are terrified of Case McCoy being the QB this year.

So frickin jealous of what they have in Ames. It's truly amazing what Fred has done coming in with 0 coaching experience.

They still think it's Colt McCoy.

A strained hamstring this early and they are worried. He will be fine.

If you ask the basketball analysts outside the state of Iowa I think you would be surprised to hear their responses. Iowa was pegged as a preseason top 5 team by one ESPN analyst and is ranked in the vast, vast majority of preseason top 25 polls

Plenty of time for a strained hamstring to heal before the season, texas fans have nothing to worry about

I agree. However, hamstrings can be those recurring and nagging injuries that are tough to get over.

I have a pulled quad to the point I could see the muscle bulge like a rope inside my skin. 2 weeks of no running and I was 100%. Have not dealt too much with hamstring issues though.

Hamstring or groin can nag you for an entire year. Just when you think you are fine it bites you in the butt.

Strained my hamstring in high school football and it still flares up occasionally.

Mack Brown just doesn't want to have to look at his nasty mug for a few days.

Once he looks at this for a few days, he will go back to Ash.

I get the sense most UT fans are not crazy about Case McCoy.
