I have a basement room where the concrete floor that has been painted over twice. I started to scrape it with some success, but to the point that I could spend two full days trying to finish it. Tried a heat gun but will take forever. I've had a couple people tell me to acid wash it. I'm looking for some suggestions as I want to epoxy paint it.
Check with the manufacturer of the epoxy you want to use but you should be able to epoxy over well-adhered paint. Also, there are better products than epoxy on the market now. I think they are urea based or something like that. I think Menard's carries one.
