    Truck Rental Companies

So I'm a procrastinator, and I'm looking for a moving truck for the 29th through the 31st. I tried calling a month ago thinking that, that would be plenty of time however it wasn't and I'm in a bit of a pickle now. Any ideas on weird companies to try? U-haul doesn't have anything along with all the other major ones.

    Thanks for the help.

    1. Good friends that aren't already moving and have van/trucks?

    2. See if something out of a different town would work....extra driving, but might have availability.

Find somebody with a garage to store your stuff and then use a pick up truck to move the stuff from the garage to your new place.

    Re: Truck Rental Companies

Start looking at some small town U-Haul rentals. I heard a few people that have had luck doing this. Melbourne has one, as does Perry, Dallas Center and Adel.

How big of a truck? I guess I should have worded it "moving van" I know people with pickups.

I think I've heard of guys renting vans or pickups through Charles Gabus in Des Moines. Don't know if they still do that or not.

Depending on how much stuff you have, and if you have a friend with a pickup, you might be able to find an enclosed trailer more readily than a moving van.
