    Cyclone Sports Complex?

    Cyclones.com has videos and photos about the construction of the new facility. But, I haven't found a drawing that portrays the facility as it's being constructed, I don't think (at least two versions are online; maybe more?). Can anyone here point to a drawing/map of the facility?

    Does it include track, soccer, and softball only? One drawing included lacrosse fields.

    BTW, JP's original athletic facilities plan called for update Hilton's exterior. Is that on deep hold? Don't recall if it was more than cosmetic (enclosing the area between the exterior pillars).

    Just drove by it today, looks like its getting pretty close to being finished. I believe these were the final approved plans: Revised sports complex plan ready for Feb. 15 public meeting - News Service - Iowa State University

    OK, not to start this argument again, since I don't think it'll happen any time in the visible future, if at all, but is there room for a baseball field at the bottom right hand corner in that drawing? Just not good enough on the scale of baseball field vs. softball. Just wondering if they are leaving a door open.

    I'm not sure if there would be enough room there, however there is I think a larger empty area just north of the parking lot that might be big enough. i wouldn't count on baseball coming back anytime soon though.

    But one could easily fit in the open lot to the north of the parking lot as stated a couple of posts earlier..........

    Also, they already installed a scoreboard on the west end of the track so I highly doubt the scoreboard currently behind the south end zone of jack trice gets relocated there if we ever get to renovating the SEZ.

    Based on the obvious demand for baseball based on the interest from this board you would probably want plenty of parking and would place it in the old SW athletic complex with a massive parking lot to go with the huge stands you would surely build.
