Yep. Bollant is at Illinois, and he hired former Texas assistant LaKale Malone. LMU hired Jackie Stiles as an assistant (announced today). I didn't see anything interesting about Tulsa.

What is it about former UW Green Bay coaches that ISU seems destined to continue playing against them? I think Borseth coached UWGB when we played them in the 2006 WNIT, and then after he leaves and goes to Michigan, ISU gets paired against them in the Big 12 - Big Ten series. Now after playing UWGB twice in the NCAAs with Bolant as coach, ISU finds itself playing Illinois with Bollant.

Went to the Virgin Islands in 2010 when they played in the Paradise Jam. It was a great time, and ISU fans travel well. We easily had the biggest following in the USVI.

I tried to log on and get an idea of the package cost but couldn't get anywhere; may have to wait until Mon. Anyone have an idea of the cost?

These tourneys are set up at least a year in advance, so when the field was set Jolette Law was the HC at Illinois. It was coincidence that Law was fired and Bollant hired at Illinois.

The year I went to the Paradise Jam, Jodi told our group they would be going to Reno the next year (2011). The program I have from the 2010 Paradise Jam has the 2011 field listed.

I may have to make some calls to find this out but, are tickets available on site for the Junkanoo?

Flights, hotels (that offer free meals) can be had for six nights for under $1,300. With passport, transportation other meals and incidentals adding around another $500+ a trip for under $2000 is doable.

St. Georges HS is the site for the Junkanoo WBB Torney. St. Georges is less than three miles from the the host Hotel (Lucayan) It holds less than 1000 and tickets are available at the door from what I found. Ticket price is less than $10.00 and they practically beg people to come.

I've been shopping around for the best deals but a Travel Agent assures me she can do me one better. She is calling back monday.

Re: ISU WBB playing in Thanksgiving Bahamas tournament

I could not get my schedule to work for the Junkanoo and I am very dispappointed. All my planning for naught! So I am using my money to get to Ames for more games this year starting with the Exhibition Nov. 1 against NW Missouri.

Is anyone going to the tourney in the Bahamas and what kind arrangements/price did get?
