    Espys and Rob Riggle

We had no chance of out voting LA for that award, no matter how insignificant hockey is in LA. But, still a disappointment.

I was wondering what all of you thought about Rob Riggle's performance as MC, other than his Kansas schtick of course, which was predictable if you know anything about him I thought he did a great job.

Of course the Jayhawks may be in for a rude awakening a la TCU coming up here soon, with the arrest of drug dealers associated with the BB team.

I think he did pretty well. Some jokes landed and were hilarious. Others were awkward. He was fun, a little edgy, but didn't embarrass himself. I wish he woulda mixed in a "IN THE FACE!!!"

I want some of whatever you are smoking. I watched about 45 minutes of that show and that was about the most painful 45 minutes of television I have ever witnessed.
Whoever made the decision to hire him should have come out on stage and committed Hara kiri in order to save face.

I think he was alright. He sometimes subscribes to the Sinbad philosophy of the louder I say things the funnier they are. The ESPY's aren't a premier awards show so the hosts won't be amazing but he hasn't been the worst.

I think he did ok. Some parts were really funny. Hosting is hard and almost nobody ever thinks the host did a good job. People will look back in a few years and remember the funny parts if they look back at all.

I don't know. The majority approved of Billy Crystal's hosting of the Oscars, especially the first couple of years.
