    Re: Sanderson

Back to back national championships, facilities that are so far superior to ours that it isn't even funny, prime recruiting territory without having to go up against iowa and okie state for wrestlers.....add a stacked line up for the next two years, I would say he is pretty ******* happy...

And that doesn't even include the salary he is making...

Now I don't think he wishes failure on Iowa State. But the perfectionist and competitor in him would never settle for the competitive disadvantages that he had here....psu built him an amazing building, and put him smack dab in the middle of some of the best wrestling in the country where he didn't have to share...Not a tough choice...

There is definitely a pall cast around state college, but as much as I love it, wrestling>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

And the PSU program is donor funded, so even a football death penalty wouldn't impact it much. He also has funding to keep a whole stable of senior guys as workout partners. The Paulsons, Reader, and Zabriskie are awesome to have in the room. But at PSU Sanderson has 3 times that many senior wrestlers.

Ding ding ding and to add further pain to the misery, Cael got out from his own shadow in Ames to become another man, the coach.

If football would get the death penalty the donors would still need to donate and the wrestling program would probably get even more money dedicated to it.

Wow- We havent let this go yet huh?

“It’s beyond pride. It’s a restored trust. There’s a confidence again, a passion that teeters on swagger. More than anything, (Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads) has restored the Iowa State “it” factor, the steadfast belief that it is great to be a Cyclone...the man’s enthusiasm is genuine to the core...”

    Re: Sanderson

donors are going to be contributing to the PSU Athletics Civil Lawsuit foundation for the next several years, they might lose some of those lower level funds that have to save the football program.
