I just don't see WVU and TCU coming in and winning 9 or 10 games. Nothing against either school but they are both moving to a gauntlet of a schedule from what they're use to. And WVU didn't really plow through the Big East last year.

Either way, I'm predicting a late November win for ISU over WVU in Jack Trice.

It's a fairly believable analysis, since it was compiled game by game and took into account where games are played. Summaries are pretty well-done.

But I'm with you regarding TCU (and a little on WVa) capable of entering that 6-3 zone, but equally possible of losing 5 or 6 conference games when it's week-in, week-out.

    I don't see 2-7 for ISU.

I'm not just saying this because I'm a Cyclone fan, but I'd put my money on us beating Baylor and Kansas State this year.

I agree. I think the upper teams are overrated and the bottom teams are better than surveyed. I perceive more dog eat dog with home teams coming out on top this year. TCU and WVU will not have a coast ride this year.

CFH HMagic bball season next year.

I think I'd put more money on Iowa state winning 7 games than 4-5 or less. Call me crazy.

What would u guys do? If you had to bet either 5 or less or 7 or more.

Neither do I, but I think it's a reasonable prediction from a non-fan. Especially since he went game by game rather than looking at the overall season. Games like K-State and Baylor could easily go either way.

    You are crazy.

I'd bet on 5 wins or less over 7 wins or more.

We were a lot closer to 3-9 last year than we were to 7-5.

I can see us pulling off anywhere up to 7, and that would be pretty surprising.

On the other hand, 3 wins wouldn't be all too shocking either.

Such is life in the Big 12.

Yeah, everyone acts like they are going to just keep killing teams without a 28 year old QB and a first round receiver. I can't think of any new QB that came in and did as well as people think this kid will. Plus their defense isn't going to be a strength. Maybe 6 or 7 wins for them.

Re: Interesting Big 12 Projections..and game by game..

If any team makes it undefeated, they earned it. Besides KU (and all of TT's defense), the whole conference is stacked. Any of those 9 teams can win any game.

ISU should get a win against either KSU, Baylor, or Iowa. Good chance for another big upset in November with OU and WVU too. TCU will be our toughest game to win IMO. That is their first home Big 12 game and they will be out for blood.

My stupid opinion, 7-5 with Texas or Holiday Bowl. Wins over Tulsa, Iowa, WIU, Texas Tech, Baylor, Kansas, and WVU.

Yeah I think we'll be above Baylor. And Okie St isn't going to be #2 in the Big12 this year.
