    Anybody played Amana's this year?

I'm heading over there today, and was wondering what kind of shape it's in. I've only played it one other time, and it was a few years ago. When I played, it was really nice in spots, but really ragged in others.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to it, because it's a nice track. I like the seclusion on each hole.

Played there on Thursday for the first time so I don't have much to compare it too, but considering how dry it's been, I thought it was in pretty good shape. Fairways were perfect, but it was apparent they weren't watering the rough nearly as much as it was pretty hard once you got past the 2nd cut. Greens were in good shape too.

I guess it's usually pretty buggy, but with the dryness, there were no bugs anywhere.

Unfortunately, where I play if you are past the second cut of rough you are actually "IN" the water.. Have not played Amana this year, but it was a nice layout FWIW.

Getting to play at the Amanas was by far the best thing about having Clear Creek in the EIHC.

Re: Anybody played Amana's this year?

Just got back. The fairways were in good shape, but very much water logged. They must be watering the hell out of the course, because it was down right sloppy in many places. My drive on #1 was right down the middle, at the top of the hill, and it plugged. It was a common occurence.

Still, that course has so much character, it always fun to play.
