While that's awesome, it also means he was underpaid. I hope the new contract is enough to keep him around. If we have a few more decent years he is going to be a very hot commodity.

Yeah KF is so over paid. Nobody at the games, nobody rocking hawk gear. The guy creates no revenue at all.

Im from NW Iowa. Before KF you would see Nebraska gear everywhere. Now you see hawk gear everywhere.

    The guy pays the bills.

Right, I forgot. Hayden Fry had nothing to do with how popular Iowa is today.

You could get a lot higher margins on your revenue with another coach..

"his seven wins in 2011 cost Iowa a cool $540,714.85 each."

Take it easy, killer. It's an over simplified mathematical formula. Based purely on $/win CPR is a great bang for your buck, and KF is a little spendy.

Really? Like bars running specials during ISU games? At the only Scheel's in the area its hard to find ISU gear.

But yeah wins per dollar he isnt the best value.

Just saying there are lots of new hawk fans in my area since 2002.

CPR has never had more than 3 conference wins in a season, his pay is just fine for now.

Does Samantha Steel have something to do with the bang for your buck voting?

Unless he starts going undefeated every year, it is impossible to keep that value per game up under his new contract.

    Debbie Downer, I know.
