Huskers Excited to start Ganz. Could they lose remaining games?

A few Huskers I know are excited to start Ganz, think they can do better with him in there or something. It's possible...but as the saying goes, the best QB on the team is the backup quarterback.

Keep in mind, this inexperienced QB will play at Kansas Saturday, against a defense that has been very good this year. No team has scored over 24 point on them, Kansas has only scored less than 24 twice, both coming in Big 12 road games.

A&M (a team with a strong offense) was held scoreless until halfway through the 4th quarter - when the game was all but decided.

With Kansas looking very good, K-State no slouch and Colorado improving - it's conceivable that Nebraska won't win another game and their only Big 12 win comes at the hands of our Cyclones.

Man...if we could only have sustained that first quarter action/momentum through that game...

I think the Huskers will beat Kansas, and Northwestern will take Iowa. Huskers have nothing to lose, a QB the team will play for and Kansas will be under pressure to win. Iowa is depleted because of the various injuries, suspensions and felonys, and Northwestern is due. I don't care if the Huskers win or lose, but Iowa is another story.

    The chatter in Huskerland today:

Is it Bill Callahan's last chance to ever win against a Top 10 school?
Can he win with the first start of the backup qb?
Can he do it with a no name linebacker?
Can he do it with the nation's worst rush defense?
Can you believe Huskers will be doing this against Kansas?
    My how times change.

Texas beat Huskers in volleyball last week. The Huskerettes just barely beat the next volleyball team at home (3-2) and looked lethargic.

Huskers football lost big last week.

The bball team might lose their exhibition game.

The new AD at NE is not doing very well. What is his name?

I think Kansas is going to make Nebraska look silly. A new QB isn't going to make Nebraska's defense any better.

Had an ok game. Lots of yards...4 TDs but had 4 INTs as well. And, he can't play defense.

I kinda think most people expected KU to lay it to the Huskers today. And I'm glad they did. Too bad they didn't hit 80...
