    Network-Attached Storage Devices

Do any of you guys/gals own one of these?

I am looking to get one, but most of the reviews on them are terrible.

I would like to spend between $200-400 if possible.

Synology are solid. Great web interface with tons of features. There is a model for every need and price.

Synology Network Attached Storage - NEW NAS Experience

    The DS212j is phenomenal.

Synology seems to be the biggest maker of them.

    WD has got poor reviews

    There really isn't many choices.

Synology seems to always get high marks from users. I have used drobo as well, but those are a tad limited and more expensive.

Does your wifi support a NAS device directly attached?

Haven't checked moving in to an apartment this August. But certainly I could get a wireless router.
