I'm not sold on Murray. This would be such a big win for him and his country, but I just don't see it happening.

Federer, as long as his back holds up. He was moving pretty well on Wednesday morning, but I didn't see the match today. Was he looking stiff at all?

    Re: Wimbledon Final

Fed just played flawless tennis today against the #1 player in the world today in Djokovic. It is going to be a tough match for Murray.

But, I'm thinking he gets it done...things have just been going his way too this tournament. Nadal got knocked out of his bracket early....he has played great tennis...I give him a great shot to take it to the 31 year old Federer.

    I got Murray.

    Re: Wimbledon Final

Although Fed has been streaky this year, he's been tough as nails this whole tourney. I can't believe he beat Novak.

Murray is lucky Nadal went out in 2nd round. If Murray has any chance, this is the year, but unfortunately he's catching Fed at the top of his game.

    Game-Set-Match: Roger Federer.

Federer all the way. His experience in Wimbledon finals and Murray's lack thereof will be the difference.

    Re: Wimbledon Final

Federer all the way. Murray's a much better player than he has been in recent years, but Federer's been here 7 times before in the finals and will likely make it 7 titles at Wimbledon on Sunday. Federer's also in great form, and the only chance Murray has is if Federer's back problems flare up again in the final. Federer wins in 4 sets.

He was looking like the Roger Federer of 5 years ago today. I'm pulling for Federer. I'm not a huge tennis fan, but for some reason I've always really appreciated Federer. It's not often the greatest of all time in a sport is a seemingly nice, humble person.

Agreed. I hesitate to put athletes and coaches on a pedestal ever since the Tiger Woods scandal, but it seems like all Fed has ever done is win majors in the most graceful way possible. I'll be pulling for him on Sunday.

    Re: Wimbledon Final

This is a huge match. On one side you have Roger Federer trying to equal Pete Sampras' record of 7 Wimbledon titles while Murray is trying to become the first Brit since 1936 to win Wimbledon. If Murray wins all of Great Britain will go CRAZY...they have been waiting for this for so long

    Re: Wimbledon Final

Murray has the weight of Great Britain and 75 years on his racquet. Fed is going to be so jacked that he's not looking at Rafa on the other side of the net. This one is all about what's going on between the ears. Hopefully Murray makes a good match of it, but I think Fed wins this one going away.
