    Re: Bike or Run?

I'm a runner, but if anyone in Ames is looking to get rid of a cheap bike I wouldn't mind having one to ride to class.

    Both. They aren't mutually exclusive.

    Re: Bike or Run?

I have no problem with bikers if they stay off the sidewalkthat being said I like playing sports more than just running or biking.

    Re: Bike or Run?

I normally run, but I do enjoy riding my mountain bike on the trails when I get time. I need to get a road bike so I can take it out more often.

    Re: Bike or Run?

I used to bike quite often and I had a ton of knee issues surprisingly.

Doc said to go back to running. Never had any joint issues when running.

    Whatever works for you

    Re: Bike or Run?

Run. Been swimming a ton this summer. Biking scares me and everyone I see on a bike blowing through stop signs are d-bags

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

+1 Actually runners are no problem but the OP did shoot first so good job outta you!

Edit: My biggest issue are drivers that think they know the rules of the road and don't. Legally there is room to share without killing someone.

The grass always looks greener, on the other side of the fence, but the dog over there might be meaner, on the other side of the fence… Stay in your own yard, play in your own yard!

    Re: Bike or Run?

Just got done biking the great western trail. Biking by a mile. I have bad knees and weak ankles and run flat footed. Would love to run one of the mud runs or the living history farm run
