    Golf Course Reviews

Trying to decide where to play with a group of friends in a few weeks. They are coming in from all over and none of us have played the following courses: Copper Creek, Toad Valley, and Terrace Hills. Which course should we play and why?

I think Copper is by far the best of those three. Haven't played there for a while but they have a nice clubhouse, greens are usually in good shape, and the course is short enough that players of all skill levels can have fun but narrow/challenging enough that the better players will still be challenged.

I've played CC and TV. Both are fun, but I'd give the edge to CC

Out of those three I'd go Copper. I think it has more interesting holes, goes from some woods to more open to between some cool houses.

Waveland is my favorite course in Des Moines, you should just play there!

    From best to worst:
    1. Copper creek - easily the best of the three
    2. Terrace hills
    3. Toad valley- distant 3rd

    Others to think about:
    Blank
    Legacy in Norwalk
    Otter creek
Wave land - very challenging course
    Beaver in grimes

    Re: Golf Course Reviews

I agree with Copper Creek. My buddy lives right along (ithink) the 10th hole. His house gets smashed with balls all day lol.

The course is neat. It has a lot of wooded areas that cause difficulty but also has easier holes too. Its very nice but not to nice where you cant have a little fun.
