    pickling okra

my okra plants have just started to pop off and I was wondering if used salsa jars, olive jars etc. will suffice in keeping them fresh? Or do i have to go out and get legit pickling jars?

also, anybody have a good recipe?

    Re: pickling okra

I'm not an experienced pickler (my brother is) but I think a jar's a jar. He's used several jars to make various pickled items and they've kept just fine.
