    Is there a place to sky dive in the Ames

    area? There used to be a place in Boone. Is it still there? Anyone have any experience with this?

    Closest to Ames that I am aware of:

    Iowa Tandem Skydives, Skydiving Instruction, and Skydive Gift Certificates from Des Moines Skydivers, Winterset, Iowa

    There might be a group in Fort Dodge too... not sure though.

    Wait for Labor Day and hit Couch Freak Boogie in Fort Dodge. It's cool just to sit and watch wave after wave of jumpers all weekend.
