    Farniok Article

Interesting article in The Register today. Talk about a family of big boys. It is rare to have one NCAA athlete let alone 2 and a third working hard to get there as well.

I absolutely LOVE me some Tom Farniok. That dude is the embodiment of what I want (and I think CPR to some extent) our players to be. Smart guys who work their tails off and strap on their *** kicking shoes on Saturdays!

Tom could end up the runt of the litter. At 6'4" 280 that's saying something.

Got to see some of the rest of the family while in New York for the Pinstripe Bowl. Good folks. Seemed like a really solid family. The only problem is that every Saturday is family crisis about where to be!

Hope Tom can talk his brother into playing for us.

Unless the brother at ISU is glowing about his experience and the OU brother is not nearly so enthusiastic...

“We make a big run to Sam’s Club,” the proud mother said. “I would say a good 5-pound roast, probably 5 pounds of chicken breasts, a 5-pound bag of potatoes, four cans of green beans, corn.

“And a whole loaf of bread.”
Yeah I can't imagine food costs in that household

Seems like there is always some drama at OU from 4* and 5* players who leave because they don't get to play. Maybe it will work to our advantage.

I was thinking this as well, why wouldnt you want to start alongside your brother?

Since Tom is a redshirt sophomore and his brother, Matt, is only a freshman unless Tom goes on the Jess Settles plan they will never play together in college. Or are you suggesting Derek transfer to ISU?

Yes the transfer thing would work fine. But Id love to get 3 out of 4 brothers. Start a legacy with some of these athletic families.

It sure would be nice if by the third brother there was no question what colors the rest would be wearing - Cardinal and Gold (and no I don't mean in California).
